From antiques markets to malls, Alabama's capital has it all, laced with new millennium panache and charm of the Old South. Downtown's Montgomery Curb Market offers fresh produce, flowers, and such from area farmers, and the State Farmer's Market on Fairview Avenue offers similar fare. Eastdale Mall, with Sears, Parisian for women, Parisian for men and kids, and JCPenney, has Bama Fever / Tiger Pride for die-hard Alabama or Auburn fans, plus Sunglass Hut, Hat Shack, and more.

The Shoppes at EastChase brings added dimension to Montgomery shopping, with open-air "Main Street" convenience for more than 40 retailers and restaurants. The Eastbrook Flea Market and Antique Mall, in a former department store, houses more than 300 vendors with children's furniture to campy stuff from the ‘50s. Mulberry District, on Mulberry Street, features retail, professional and service providers. Festival Plaza enterprises range from Paper Moon gift store to Buffalo Wild Wings Restaurant. Colonial Promenade, on Vaughn Road at Eastern Boulevard, has a Winn Dixie, Shoe Station, Guitar Center, S & K Menswear. Corporate Art Source, specializing in Soviet era Russian works and southern artists, offers advisory services, framing, and appraisals.
